Advise needed...

Can I ask for a bit of advice here I have finally got my loft up and a few birds in what I would like to know is what do you all think are the most important medicines and tonics I should be buying there seems to be mountains of them

hi briant, my favourite product is ropa b liquid alternate days......thanks to Darren/oldstrains advise.

the best thing is to get your birds tested it cost around £12.00
that way you will save money and know for sure what or if anything is wrong
guessing games cost money and time and wont correct things if your wrong

I would get something in for canker in race season . and maybe some eloctrlyites .
I used jhonson tonic this season to be honest didn't see much difference .

ropa-b is a oregano based natural product ...I cannot recommend the product highly enough for keeping on top of canker,cocci,parasites and bacterial problems ...I have a droppings test done twice a year and for the last 3 years they have been clear as for other products I like impact which is a iodine ,iron,vitamin b12 product made by gem products ...plenty of potions and lotions out their but these two are a must for me the iodine in impact is a must for the pigeons bodily functions and b12 is hard to get into a pigeons diet as its best source is shell fish their are other substitutes you could use but impact is cheap enough and economical to use as to is ropa-b ...theirs a lot of rubbish out their so be careful and spend wisely atb

I wouldnt treat for anything this time of year as there in the moalt. but I do use oils and natural products .

most people dont have problems in the winter thats probley cus they aint filling the birds with crap like they do in the race season jmo

The cold kills everything,,the summer it breeds

No I havnt David, do you recommend it,
I'm still using a multi vitamin that Darren kindly gave me.

yes I use the ropa  vita - mino.....which Darren told me about too, its in powder form, not a liquid and if I remember correctly it is one scoop to 2 litres of water.

as with all ropa products I think very highly of them, as Darren/oldstrain recommended them to me.
