| To relax the cocks from any race give them a warm bath just like you having a hard day at work then you run yourself a bath it's just the same

| nonsense they wont get a chill in cold water when it rains does it rain warm doesnt hurt them at all getting cold bath infact they quite enjoy it |

| I've never using hot water, but i did read about it relaxing the birds after a race. I dont think cold water will harm them, they are very resistant against cold. |

| david getting onto a different subject when pigeons go away to race and you get holdovers they dont release them when overcast but liberate in red hot weather i would rather they released them in colder weather then they have got a chance of getting back |

| yes, would be an easier race in colder weather i suppose, would be bad for them if held over in very hot weather and maybe be dehydrated and then having to fly home... |

| Ian the reason for using warm water is to relax the pigeon after the race if you use cold water you will make the pigeon go stiff around the muscles and the pigeon will not relax |
