| hiya mate,
i personally would never treat for anything whilst rearing, its sounds as though the bird has possibly had a stroke?
hen possibly strained herself laying old cock overcome with rearing and driving back to nest
just be careful as the babies in nest are to young and not able to cope with doseage JMO |

| each to there own, but if your management is right they should have been free from ailments before breeding. If you have to treat when breeding then you got problems, Giving squeekers medicine before they have even left the nest seems desperate to me...but thats just my opinion. |

| i always treat before pairing but as you know cocci and canker levels are high when paired and feeding youngbirds your stock can not be clear all the time when breeding as some of us take 2 and three rounds off them like you say everone to there own and yes my management is right |

| Would still leave the treatment out during breeding, once the youngbirds have developed then the treatments can start |
