treatment of birds

put my birds in the race this week one member commented on the feel of them saying what have you had these on , so i told him what i used and how long i used it for , however if it was the other way round ,me askin him he wouldnt tell me , too much secrecy

ian, to be honest ....i would tell none of the members i was flying against nothing. when we raced years ago we told them nothing, it didnt go down very well and we wernt liked very much by some....but so what, i was there to win not tell the competition anything. lets face it, like you say.....they wouldnt tell you would they ???

when they ask me at my club i just say pigeon feed lol

I once asked a good fancier if he have any secrets to share with me, i could instantly tell , he's holding back

thats true tell you nothing but are always sticking their snout into yours......

I must have missed this post, but would like to add that for me the secrets are the secrets and I never tell anyone anything about what I really do. I just baffle them with bulls dodo.. But I would tell a young fancier everything always but not with anyone eles around.

true martyn, you wouldnt get the top flyer in the club giving away his secrets and all his management system methods.......i know there is no secret formular to winning but we all do our own thing and if it works for you then thats ok, but you dont go telling every one do you....


i think all the top men are fanatical about pigeons and put a lot of time and effort into it getting things right and sticking to the routine.......you get out of it what you put into it dont you.

thisis what i dont agree with if theres something going about you should tell other membersso they can put therebirds right after all they will be putting them in the basket with yours

too many little clicks this is where the back stabbing comes from

there is ian, i raced in the same club ive just joined 20 years ago and its the same click now as it was back then......makes you feel like an outsider for a start, and then if you win it would be even worse..... i dont care anyway, i didnt then and i dont now......
