| We got a Pencil pied cock back yesterday someone had gone to the trouble of putting a yellow split ring on it with a number 6,on it it's a young bird been missing 2,months wingstamped with our number on but still don't bother to ring us makes you wonder is it worth wingstamping the pigeons. |

| I don't think it is v/r man....I use the telephone leg rings and in the last 5 years I think ive had one reported...although I think some don't report them because they presume the owner wouldn't want to pay £40 to get the pigeon back, most don't.
if you got 10 birds reported, your talking £400 to get them back home, most don't want to pay it....also some who get the birds in want to keep it so they don't bother reporting. |

glad to hear that Darren, how long had it been out, and what sort of condition is it in...? 4 days and in pretty good nic tbh we saw him everyday but the blighter would not come down he was just doing flypasts and landing on the tall buildings opposite I knew it was him by his marker ring which I could see with the binoculars glad to have his back |
