I've just been sent an email from the London region of the RPRA, As secretary I had to notify all my club members not to let their birds out for 30 days, and updates can be found on the RPRA website.

There's alot of tumbler flyers' around me, and listening to some Facebook comments they ain't keeping them in, to be honest all they do is moan about the sparrow hawks and perigrine hitting there kits, you would think they would keep them in for 30 days if only to starve the birds of prey

Another reason why I am.going into racers' |

keep the birds in for 30 days is that a miracle cure? Seems to me they don't want the Christmas turkeys to catch it and farmers lose all there money.

Don't no if I will be keeping mine in for 30 days thought it would have to be passed by parliament to be compulsory which would have to be lobbied first I might be wrong on this

It's only a precautionary measure, there have been no cases reported in the U.K. As yet.

By all things I see we are told to do with our birds but what about all the fanciers who keep tumblers they won't have a secretary to tell them to keep their birds in or will they have the bhw to read it and it won't be on the radio or tv

Reading the post from Chris doesn't seem to bother them , they just let them out whatever, but it's us that have to do as we're told, as usual, or is it that we care more for our birds that those who just let them out
