i have mine out every morning phil come rain, wind or shine......every time they go out and look around and walk around the garden they are taking note of their surrounds and getting to know where home is........for me it doesnt matter how long they do this before they take off flying as all the time they are learning and homing.dont be in too much of a hurry to get them up like some fanciers do, they will fly when they are ready...... this is just my way anyway....

Phil the greatest sprint racing pigeon "Breakaway" his mother was a stray and his father was a racing pigeon So the pigeon may have it in him to be the next big thing, you don't know mate anything can happen in this game

Best to keep them in the loft than waste your season by pushing them to early trying to keep up with everyone else
