7th is ok phil, its only the the beginning of the season so plenty of time yet eh.......ive been going to stick with the T3 too, but after a bit of thought might go with the bricon ets, as loosing time clocking makes a difference in the results.

I've got a Bricon David. All other club members are on Unikon. My bricon is a pain in the arse, always some problem or another, last week it wouldn't print on basketing night, this week the clock setter couldn't take this weeks race off so he's had to take it home. Every other member has unikon and they're problem free every week.

| Our club uses only Unikon - so we had to buy one also.
However TWICE in training and ONCE in our first race yesterday - the system MISSED a bird.
It happens when 2 or more birds try to get through the bob wires at the same time. I know a lot of people have (or make) little archways or small tunnels so t he birds have to go in individually, but that still doesn't stop two or more birds going over the pad at the same time.
Maybe Ray from the Peel Bros might have an answer as I know he has used ETS, and I think Unikon, for a while now. Any ideas Ray?
I might put this question on open forum as well and see if we can get some answers.
Phil

I've had My Bricon miss birds before from training when they all come home together and climb over each other to get in.

Never had a problem in ten years using bricon same this weekend now problems the unikon system would not find the time signal but got their in the end if your birds are missing the pads its not the system its that you don't have it set right you have to slow them down when they go over the pads on both systems the pads will read the rings from a distance of 2 inches above the ring and birds shouldn't be climbing over each other as far as the clock not printing on clock striking the printer cable should be plugged in first its the clock setter who isn't up to speed with the system
