| Glad to see things went well, would say if you are racing sunday would try to get at least 2 more tosses into them, will not hurt them at all
If you can train friday then the skies will be free of pigeons as most will be getting ready for basketing that night |

| good advise don but be careful david sometimes young cocks can get a bit over excited and youll loose them, ive always found it better not to show before the race because as mine are seperated they all arrive home from training together so they have abit of time before i seperate them, then when you send them to the race they automatically know they will see the hen when they get home. each to their own though david but just watch your own birds and decide whats best for you. |

| no little "h" decided not to as it was a ne wind and altho it wouldnt have been much of a problem for birds which have been before i decided that with mine having not raced yet it was too risky.........prooved the right decision as a lot were lost in our club and by what ive heard in other clubs too. |

| hi mick, yes your right they are totally different from 35 mile......they swoop down from high up opening their wings and dropping onto the loft, they seem as tho they are trying hard to get home and i dont have trouble getting them in either, better not speak too soon as one of my worries is that they come home good from the race but wont trap..... |
