good question rene, have thought about this myself over last few months..........by what ive heard it seems some wont be happy if you clock maybe half a dozen birds in but wether its a rule or just sour grapes i dont know........ive found out that its not acceptable to put two rubbers into one thimble like we used to do when i raced before. maybe someone can tell us rene........

wonder why they do this rene....? is it to keep some from sending loads of birds/mob flying.....? seems a bit harsh to me only being able to clock one bird in

to be honest i think it gives the other flyer a chance to clock in there's not that many members in the club that send realy but those that do send a few some flyers may put 20 birds others might only put 5 but it seems to work well as this keeps every 1 happy i think

Ian it spoils clubs if you have one fancier timing loads of pigeons taking all the prizes and nothing left for anyone else Ian it's o.k timing as many birds as you like but how does it look when the same person is taking the first 10 to 20 in the club nearly every week and we all know this happens And this is were ETS can help in doing the damage

read something in bhw where the nehu have said stbs cannot be used as thimbleless because they have proof it can be manipulated.....? unless it has some insert (?) fitted, as far as i know members in my club who use the stb do it without thimbles so i wonder if it will be decided by rpra to follow suit.?

there are two sides to that don, i know what you are saying but on the other hand if someone had 10 or 15 birds before me i would time my in,if he was restricted to say five to time in and i was 6th on the sheet i would know that really i was,nt as he had 10 or more before me .iwould want to beat him fairly, plus its gives me more incentive to beat him so i try harder, but i soppose we are not all the same.

But for new starter's in the sport it is one way of lossing them after just one year seeing one fancier timing in loads of pigeons before them
