im just feeding twice a day mark, half in the morning and half in the afternoon....im feeding 3 parts best all round, 1 part depurative and around 10% g10 pellets.

they get fresh grit, minerals daily plus garlic clove in the water for 2 weeks, then take it out for 2 weeks....I also use ropa b liquid, and gem impact, and sometimes magic.

Feed once a day. Regular 12% protein mix. They have to eat everything or they miss a feeding. They are about through the moult. Do add Safflower to raise the protein. Will cut that out in a few days or another week. Weather is cool, frost tonight. Then my own mix. Extra corn, plus regular mix. Cheap stuff. Plain water. Chicken grit. Livestock minerals. No barley.

Same, same Hal Smile Smile "once a day trick" makes no differance in the end etc as I know top flyers that feed in the morning only, mid-day only or night only & a few that feed twice a day. What ever one may do, best to fit it in with ones life style & work type situation without it being a burden etc. What to feed Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Smile Smile I will just  leave that to the experts lol! lol! lol!. cheers

My birds are still moulting so I make up my own mix.

A Basic mix with added linseed, small seed, a bit of extra wheat (as wheat is good for moulting birds) and a few growers pellets for the extra protein.
