| You can get the odd good late bred, put they are hard work and very time consumming compared to youngbirds breed at a normal time |

| seems pointless breeding late racers.seens to me it would be better to rest the breeders from early summer. |

| i dont think fanciers who breed latebreds breed them to race, as far as i know most of them breed them off there best birds which have probably bred ybs to do well that season and who want to preserve the good bloodline for future breeding......... unless of course there are the fanciers like me who mistakenly forget tp remove eggs and they hatch............ |

| yes im having 2 sets dark and natural, but natural just 2 or 3 races, then saving for next year |

| David, this pigeon would be ready for the drop back races and when the darkness birds have had plenty of miles on the wing, this pigeon is only getting started and will be that much freasher |

| can still get about5 races with natural,you have got to remember we had to race them all the way before darkness came in |
