looks like members are happy to have you on board gagsy1982, no objections ........mark evans has organised entry forms and entry fees for the last few years for us, so he knows when the deadline is, so once we have all those members who want to join the syndicate again, we will have to get the ball rolling asap as we dont want to miss out again like we did a couple of years ago.

Some thinking required also here David, maybe where our 2nd team may/will come from I suggest     if we are to enter 4 birds again like last year as such .

OK. How much and does cash from last race get applied?

18 members at £25.00 each will give us £450 for 4 entry's at £440 pounds the remainder plus if we get 50 back leave's us £60 to help with the carriage or use the 50 in with the entrance fee but this means who supplies the birds will have to pay the full carriage which isn't fare at all can't remember when the money had to be in by but entry forms will be out in October so need the deposit of £200

not sure, because i cant find any info so far, but i think birds in previous years in the top 100 got paid out, i think birds in the top 50, got more prize money than birds from 50 to 100.

plus we get half of whatever each of our birds make in auction.

£25 seems a small amount to pay for the pleasure derived.

As for entries one could not have asked for more from oldstrains efforts, I know it is cheeky but I feel four from the same loft with sound pigeons would give a better chance of one being a REAL GOOD UN, we know the vast majority are not.

Perhaps a word in Alfie's ears.

It would not go amiss to reward Alfie and oldstrain in some manner.

i agree misty, 4 from darren would be my choice ........they have done us proud not only in this years rpra one loft, but also in last years mnfc one loft where the bird was 30th in the final from over the channel.

might be a big ask, as darren has to think of his own racing team for next year, his own must come first ...

Four from Darren is to much to ask as he is only a mall team flyer and four would impact to much on his team of young birds anyway we have until Christmas to find another two from either four members or a friend

Not forgetting the effort Mark puts into the pot, too easy for us to take things for granted.

yes it is misty, organising and sorting out entry forms is a job i wouldnt relish, mark has done a good job for us over the years........also a big resposibilty breeding ybs for a one loft.

as mark says, weve plenty of time to sort out who breeds our young birds, main thing is getting the members involved who want to be in, and getting the entry form sent off.

Good news oldstrain, all being well we will have four in the final.

But we all know the possible pit falls.

anyone know the rpra prize money , i know they pay the first 100 birds clocked, but i seem to think that after the main winners which are paid thousands, the rest up to 50 get more prize money than, the birds clocked 50 - 100, could be wrong tho`

yes old strain been here before fly in West Wales same club as John norm 2 glad to be on board
