Todays Club Meeting

had our monthly club meeting today, good turn out compared to what we get normally .........11 turned up !!!

discussed opening the radius to one and a half miles, to hopefully attract new members .......also discussed birdage and basketing .

lasted about 45 mins or more which is quite good for us ......was nearly a big argument but it was quickly calmed down .

Always found the best way to get members there was to spread a few rumours that a few sparks may fly.

yes misty, nothing like a good old argument to get some interest ....ive gone many a time just because trouble was in the air .......

I am 40 miles overfly. As they said when I asked to join, "You not scared of us, we are not scared of you!"

1 & 1/2 miles flew in a open specialist club here, years ago etc & gave away 60 odd miles David which was what we then called the west line here & when north was in the wind they would clock well before us tragic types up the top end as such & we still had to give them near 60 odd miles     in overfly.
