If you have a "Pets at Home" branch nearby they sell powdered charcoal for about £3 a tub, lasts for ages. These get a few drops of rape seed oil on corn which helps the charcoal stick, approx 1 level teaspoon powder to 20 birds twice a week.
But tablet best for sick birds though if they aren't eating.

Sometimes the problem lies in the digestive track and gizzard and backs up in the crop when food isn't passing through being steadily digested.

yes shes not really eating colin, she is drinking, not loads but some........ive given small seeds but shes not interested at the moment.

i wonder if other pet shops will have the charcoal powder, i know there is one or two bigger pet shops local but rarely go in them .

Crack a cobble from your Barbicue. Within a paper wrap with a hammer. they will peck it up.

keep banging the charcoal down david and acidify the water to with avidress or lemon juice (table spoon for 2 litres)or even the cider vinegar but the former are both better than the vinegar for this paticular incident ...give her a deserved rest from the cock to ,hopefully she will reach full recovery atb
