It was never going to be a walkover against USA, they've come a long way in past 12 years while England been standing still.

A bit cold this morning but not too bad

grand morning, waiting around for hen boxes delivery that should have turned up last wednesday! Rubbish courier been sitting in warehouse 4 miles from me and paid for next day delivery too. They couldn't care less. No excuse just makes my blood boil.

joe public are being taken for mugs colin, all this gas / electric / fuel scam, and the cost of food etc etc is all manufactured to claw more profits, they are making millions if not billions out of us .

i bought a big tool chest last week , from a garage 3 miles down the road...i asked three couriers how much to deliver it for me, prices were £40, £50 and £80 needless to say they didnt get the job, luckily the garage delivered it free for me .

At the moment anything goes because they can't get folk to do the jobs, at least that's the usual excuse across the board. coming from many services. Something sadly wrong with the whole set-up in this country right now.
How can I get something work-related from Germany in 2 days yet pay for next day service here and it takes 6 days to get 140 miles ?? And it's still not here yet to be honest.

The problem with our country is no one bothers about anything until it directly affects themselves.

thats exactly it colin, car parts come from germany in a couple of days yet we hear the "cost of living rise" is due to transport and a war in ukraine .......we hear english people do not want to work yet they get bypassed for immigrants who have priority .......has anyone noticed the amount of of channel crossers who are employed as security for government buildings and general security ?
