Photo shopping ?

Been looking at some pigeons online and I can't believe people are allowed to do this when selling pigeons. I honestly think it should be banned, it's just another con . On the same sort of subject, it's like women who do it on Facebook. They look beautiful then you see them in real life and what difference haha . Why do it , only fooling themselves. Could you imagine us blokes doing it . I might actually look good for once haha. No such luck

rarely see a natural photo in the adverts now, they all look the same, like clones just in different colours, too perfect. If you were selling a car online and you altered the photo to hide the scuffs and dents and falsely brightened up the weathered paintwork then you'd deserve a slap if a would be buyer lost his head with you when he trailed through to see it as it actually was.
Too many buyers looking at the glossy pedigrees alongside the photos too.

Exactly barnie that's my point it should not be allowed, it's a con as you say once you receive them they look totally different

Typical, you cannot believe anything today regarding photograthy etc; they can do any amount of enhancing etc;.

Glamour models and such as Holden, get a photo of them just out of bed with no make up on etc; and you would be hard pressed to recognise them.

As for pigeons, never bought one without handling it other than the odd youngster.


Cut out everything fake today and there would be very little left.

its happened for years ray, they always make them look better than they are..it gets a sale, like colin says, when selling a car they take pictures that show it at its best, and if you notice a dent or scratch when you view then so be it, some people might not notice until they have bought it .....its all about making a sale .

Not wanting to start another topic I would just point out that we go to the same hotel for a meal every Monday and they have gone up by £2 both main and desert.

Just hope the same is not going to happen to our sports costs although petrol will be a certain problem.

All types of grain may become more scarce and costs increase.

This Ucrainian War is having far reaching consequences both short and long term.
(if there is a long term left).

Just hope it does not become beyond the less well off fanciers to participate.

Money David, priced our farmers out with cheap imports and they went to the wall or had to take up just certain produce that was not viable long term.

Now there are shortages we are at the mercy of foreigners.

Don't worry etc Misty' I have plenty of what you want there now it appears, down here I suggest gas, coal, sheep, sun or even vegemite perhaps   also have a totally useless dishonest type Prime Minister if you wish to somehow swap there now as such .  

how can importing gas and coal from other countries be cheaper than producing it our selves ...........i often wonder how leeds city council find it cheaper to have contractors doing their work, rather than employing their own trades people , surely contractors cost more ...?

Think food etc;will be more of a problem David than fuel.

Think councils use contractors because they know for certain how much is involved (or should do) where Councils are concerned most employees know how to lean on a shovel and play the sick note game.

Fuel is a major problem for many countries, having to rely on others.

The only way we could be self sufficient would be to go back to coal mining and more nuclear plants etc; means deminish, needs increase.

Affraid the whole world needs a good shake up.
