Yes we have got it . Lost 4 ybs now , gutted but just got to get on with it . Nothing to do with the darkness system because ours aren't on it due to thinking that was the reason they get the sickness. Anyway hopefully on the mend now as dropping are 99 % there . Maybe one blue to keep an eye on but rest look ok

i used to get it every season until i stopped treating the parents before pairing up,once i started with just giving a canker treatment and moxidectin for wormer prior to pairing i never got it in the ybs,i would also never canker ybs until racing started, but i did use avidress every single day ...i know i bang on about this product but it is very good ...i reckon alot of yb sickness is down to over medicating parents and they pass something on from crop to crop when feeding in the nest and it comes out in the ybs later on when it gets a real hold ...something fungal i reckon something like sour crop ...good to hear yer over it atb

Main thing is you have been able to get it early rather than a week before the important races in the season |

i have known fanciers having sick ybs several times in the one season and reason being was that it was probably different ailments each time as theres no such thing as young bird sickness e-coli ,adeno virus is what british fanciers deem as yb sickness so why not say that ,only the british fanciers have the elusive yb sickness if the ybs are ill there will be a specific reason as to why jmo of course

aways thought young birds sickness was just a blanket term for young birds that are ill .......any young bird unwell seem to be automatically diagnosed as having young bird sickness
