Wonder if you could help her by investigating easing the wing from hanging down. Pin it up maybe. Must be uncomfortable for her, in particular when sitting. Other wise she appears happy and healthy enough. . Alway sad when our feathered friends have problems. Regards. |

Probably the best bet George to give her a bit more time, you cannot know just how it is affecting her. I would seek advice from someone better than me in these circumstances. But perhaps cutting the primaries on that wing may help George. Regards. |

| just a thought george, can you put water in her nestbox save her from having to fly up to the drinker? Might be doing more harm than good when she's flapping to get up off the floor for a drink? |

| George if she's eating as much as she can cram in remember she isn't burning anything off as not flying out but not even flying from perch to perch or to the window and such. I'd be feeding her separately might be worth a try? teaspoon a.m. and level tablespoon p.m. Just my way but its what I'd do anyway, good luck anyway. |

| they are like chicken pellets / layer pellets george, that chickens eat .......they are sometimes used by pigeon men when breeding for the parents to feed to their ybs
ive always liked them, they build big healthy young birds . |

yes i think they could do george, just like they can when bred in the same loft.......when i wean and plan on keeping the ybs the main thing i do is make sure they have water, i dip their beaks in a few times a day until they get the hang of it, and try make sure they eat as well .......i think once a yb starts going backwards its usually no good. i have food and water in the nest box when breeding george, so the ybs usually learn from the parents how to eat and drink before they are weaned . |

i used to do a few years ago, it was decent, and can be used even after the ybs are weaned .......its quite a high protein mix which is good for growing /developing young birds . |
