loft wanted

there was only once when she went near them, it wasnt to harm them but i was stood in the loft doorway watching them eat a year or so ago and she walked straight past me into the loft........she made no attemp to attack them but just stood and watched them eating, i couldnt beleive it and grabbed he as fast as i could........birds hardly noticed and carried on eating their food

still got them on an oz per day don, also still feeding super diet in with it so hopefully it should keep their weight down over winter....???

David you said they are on 1oz a day my thoughts on that is to give the birds as much as they wont as in the winter they are cold and they will eat more if they get a bit fat you can get that off quite ezey but dont forget a bird needs a full tank to fly distance just a thought

yes i know what your saying ginger, during the season i was sometimes giving then 1 and 1/4 oz per bird but now they are confined to the loft due to the moult i thought it best to reduce the food as they are getting no exercise.............is this wrong ?

To me a pigeon is not mad if as the saying go,s a bird will take what it wonts at the time some will gorge them self to me if you put a hopper in once they get use to it they will only take what they wont I think there to much rubish put in to birds these days and not helping them the ones that are saying put this and put that most of it is not for the birds its for there pockets birds forty years ago was not feed this and they flew not as fast but they flew and that was to 12ft lofts with about 25 birds in it
