| noticed today one of my 2010 hens has one-eyed cold, have tried to buy one eye cold tablets (old hand) and no one sells them any more...............they gave me some eye drops but it doesnt say on the label its for this, only to prevent infection during racing etc.........anyone have any suggestions on the best way to treat ???? thanks..... |

| where do i get this from ian, i dont want to loose this hen as it is supposed to be a good bird and am hoping to breed some good ybs from her.......... |

| Hi David, I have found most one eye colds are due to a knock or fighting, I also have a hen who seems to get it quite often, not sure why. I always clean the eye with salted warm water, then dry it up with tissue paper and apply a little vaseline. this always clears it up in a few days. |

i got some drops martyn but it says on bottle for infection.....? |

| David with one eye colds the pigeon which has it may be sitting in a drat which can cause this to happen so see were the pigeon sits in the loft |
