| it is the cold on they clay type bowls that causes the damp to be drawn to them i use dyaton for red mite lice etc under the bowls i also made these for the drinkers great in my lofts as i use deep litter i also hate the grit, minerals etc getting soild by the birds so added these to the drinker stand it is same on both sides made them to take 2 pick stones each side |

| they are spot on steve, i use the laysoft horse bedding and it gets all in the drinker......these are ideal for the water and the mineral pots, i could do with copying them myself............
i have one of these minearal/pickstones in their nestboxes all the time for my birds, but as i said earlier sometimes they draw the moisture out of the air when its cold and when it freezes thats when i think it makes it damp. |

is the front and back 18 ml ply and the top 9 or 12 ml ply.....? also the wire where the pots are is it bob wires and if so do they move when the bird puts its head through...? if not what is it ? |

| this is the thing with using the laysoft, it gets in the drinkers......im off the crowthers this week to renew the laysoft i have been using before pairing up so if i get my traps finished i`ll have a go at making some of these stands as i already have most of the ply i will need left over.... |
