It was a joke mate. But never mind.
Me an expert. Nope.
Over 40 years in racing pigeons. Yes.
I was only trying to offer a little bit of constructive advice, to new starters.
Yes I do have theories, like I said in a previous post.
The basket theory.
But most of my assumptions are based on fact, maybe a typing error, it should have been 24. That's four pairs, four additional hens and one good cock bird. 3 rounds, two eggs each round.
We all make mistakes.
I try to make my hobby the old fashioned way.
Dedication, hard work, slogging your guts out.
Every pigeon bred is potential winner, it's all about good management.
I'm far from an expert, and far from a rich kid.
But what I do try to do is promote, is good husbandry. Healthy birds using natural products.
Pigeon racing on the cheap.
Hypothetically, on a race day you get a drop of four pigeons the first bird you clock wins the race. Are all four birds winners?
Or is it just the one that got clocked in first?
On paper it's just the one.
In my records the other three were potential winners.
What's your definition of a winner.
OK the system wasn't for you.
