it was a y/b midweek,but some result for the guys,
the wolverhampton fed sent 4,988 birds from swainswick today

and they try saying it doesnt give them an advantage.............

That is the problem when you have a team come together, and it is the new starters who feel the problem

The best result was by J Hulse and Son in the same fed on a saturday they had the first 21 in a youngbird race

but that is were ETS can cause problems and rub salt in the wound for new starters

how can the ets cause problems dont understand if somebody beats you then they beat you regardless of the system they use

Ian yes someone beats you then they beat you but if they beat you with 20 pigeons even you would feel a bit sick if this happened every week

And with new starters learning it does not help them

if they beat you with twenty then thats it , i know where you coming from tho but i want to beat the best dont want any false positions

yes don if mine dropped as their first one came in then i would be 21st not 2nd where i should be if i had ets, my point is a whole club and fed need to be on it to be fair yes you need the birds and need them to come but i wouldnt stand a chance week in week out.


plus if a fancier was allowed to clock only 4 and i timed in the same as above would the results make me 4th or 21st as i should be, sport needs to be kept fair

and no im not against ets would love to use it

also in my first post i worded it wrong meant dropped not timed

thing that bugs me is how come a fancier can clock in half a dozen birds on the same time using ETS, but someone using an STB cannot put two rubbers in one thimble.......... the mind does boggle now.

dont agree that two fanciers flying to more or less the same destination and both getting a pigeon dropping at the same time, with one using ETS and the other using a T3 are both on an even footing.....? nonesence.....

Whats the average price difference between the two methods, would people say?

ETS would cost far more than a manual timer............

the ongoing cost of having to buy ets rings makes it much more exspensive than a traditional clock
