The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.

kev d . ken hine told me this young birds first toss was at 40 miles but i think you need to know your family of pigeons to be able to do this his are long distance what are yours?

hi rainbow , yes all mine are long distance stuff jan Aardens , schumans , vander wegans , and janseens , im not saying im any good at the distance but i give it a go and yes the yb don,t get wraped in cotton wool here at the moment ive 11 out of 14 all in good time . cheers kev dyson

just been speaking to my mate who drove down to weymouth with the birds he had 160 yb on board from in and around somerset and devon lib at 11.00 am my first bird took 1hr 12 mins for 50 miles in a headwind i had 11 home by 3pm

thats good going then kev, my bird last week which was 3rd club took 1 hour 11 mins from newark 56 miles in a light north wind..............this being the first toss they did very well i would say

yes david im really pleased with how they did there going to lymington next week which is 69 miles they will go as far as portmouths which is 96 miles then in to the yb national on the 3rd of sept
