had the birds away today took 40 for a 20mler christ best toss todate came like rockets in the north east wind thought it might slow them down but no all came togeter 40 out 40 very pleased sean

its 21st david but its only 40mls to me but i aint going untill 1st week of august dont want my y/bs dragged round coast so want a good few more chucks in

ours is 4th aug from 56 miles (newark) , if they are not ready they will wait until they are.........only got 11 ybs so not throwing them away.

had another 10 mile toss this morning beat me back looks like they will need a longer one now from 15 miles
and they will stay there now till racing starts .

got 1 back from the desaster night looks ok no loss of flesh just a new tail growning so it can fend for itself in the wild i wouldnt say its been in any where you can tell by his eyes
anyway a long rest then see how he goes going training tonight

glad to hear it graham.....i just got back from hereford to pick up the one i lost on thursday ,anyway he was picked up of the floor flown out by a non fancier in his garden but when we were en route to get the bird the guy phoned to say that his cat had attacked it whilst it was resting in a old rabbit hutch through the wire Rolling Eyes

well the birds in a nest box back at home and quite perky all things considered but has a big flesh wound on his wing but not broken......just hope he makes a full recovery as his wing looks a real mess .....if it aint percy its bloody bagpuss Rolling Eyes

yes he does gutsy little bugger i will give him plenty time to get rite he wont race this yb season but he is a distance pigeon so it aint the end of the world atb david
