my dark ybs havnt dropped any wing flights yet, and not started the body moult either......is this normal and if so when will they start to moult ?

the oldbirds are heavily moulting now. scratch study

They should be dropping flights by now you may have had them on the dark too long or too late all I can say if they are not moulting be very cearfull with them next year it may be just a few if this is so mark down the ones that are not mouting a see what happens to them

i put them on later than normal ginger, but took them off on the longest day as usual.....

David i would do the same as you have done with the old bird loft when racing has finished and start adding small seeds and barley to there feed this should help get them started

they are already on 50/50 widowhood and super diet don, suppose its good really that they arnt moulting in a way because it means they could have raced the longest races ok........ scratch
