wrong time of year to photograph the birds as they are dropping to bits will put some on when through the moult

hi don, did rain this afternoon for a while.....but it came dark here just after 6.30 tonight and its damp and cold outside..........the nights are drawing in now and wont be too long before its dark at 4.30/5.00 pm

not sure really darren, was thinking of a mealy janssen cock i have...........she was my best racer up to 137 miles but i dont really have a cock to put to her which has also done well at the shorter disatance.........

im thinking of the janssen mealy, but i happen to know these janssens dont really come into there own till they get to 150/200 miles plus..........and as they didnt get that far i dont know which would have been any good, so the cock im thinking of was the young cock which raced the best in the three races they had.
