| do members still give garlic in the water while feeding ybs...? once read some fanciers remove it when feeding ybs. |

| well i always have with no problems i think its important as it contains selenium which is vital for the immune system and never noticed any adverse effects i put it in the drinker with honeygar |

| one thing i will say david i only add 1 crushed clove to 2 litres of water and only once a week as they are taking in more water to feed the youngsters so i dont overdo it ,also mine are on the sma lol every other day with oils on the corn |

| I too mate do the same, and same with baby milk with wheatgerm oil on the corn. |

| i add it to corn just damppen the corn with a bit of warm water with a spoon of sugar it makes it stick better |

| i don,t give mine garlic while rearing i want them to take the water natural while rearing so they can drink with out just sipping its what they do when garlic is added .

| me to always on the corn dampened with a oil i use wheat germ ,cod liver ,hemp oils all once per week and gem the pax twice per week |

| right, thanks for your thoughts on it kev, this is what ive read before by some fanciers, but i suppose we all do things differently eh..........
i think i will remove it as i have it in 24/7 which may be too much when feeding ybs. |

add some honey kev it takes the bitterness away well seems to as they have a good gulp when at the drinker |

| i leave water stand over night or if treating i buy sping water .... also i give cider vinager twice week and gemphax

| at the moment mine are just on plenty of versele laga breeding mix, maybe going to add baby milk powder but not sure as i fed only on breeding mix last year and all my ybs were healthy enough.......... |
