Well first of all if you want my advice stop training as I think they have had enough by the sonds of it .....I wouldnt feed by weight I would feed by eye as the birds are getting too much food I would cut it down that way they will mop it all up.Birds only leave food when they are not hungry anymore, maize is especially good for birds so I would save it if they leave it and next feed give that to them first before they get anything more.

i use a rough guide at this stage of 1 oz (28gram) per bird, i watch them eating and if a couple of them go to the water i take away wjats left.........to be honest at the moment my ybs dont seem to be eating as intensly as you would think, but maybe its because they ant doing much exercise at the moment have you recently changed the corn ? im using vanroebys casseart widowhood mix which has small maize and not the big plate maize and mine eat this ok........

is sounds like you may be overfeeding them and they are now becoming selective, eating their favourite grains. Mine will eat everything thats put down as I do like to keep them on the sharp side.

i feed by eye and as david says an ounce per bird per day is a good rough guide but in this muggy weather my birds have only been eating about an ounce instead of their usual 1 1/4 ounces and noticed they leave the barley and plate maize first .....just cut back a little ,you will soon know by how they trap lol atb

For me you have to keep them a little on the edge so you have control of your birds and they know who is boss
