I have heared about some crazing pigeon fanciers before, but that takes the cake. I thought pigeons were fun, that sounds like torture.

you have gotta do what you gotta do i do 4am in the racing season and 5.30 out of season, thing is you have got to fit the birds in around yourself and if you at work for 7am you know what you have to do and quick shower before leaving for work your body soon gets used to it (and if you want to suceed you have got to put the effort in) its a pleasure at that time of day during the summer FANTASTIC if your lucky enough to work just down the round, yes you can stay in bed longer but some of us have an hours drive to get to work? at the end of the day the sucess that dons friend has with the birds who can knock it!!!!!!!!!

Davey and i are up early, about 4am. We have my birds to catch and put baskets in car then down to Daveys to catch his. So we have to be up early. Its the only way to make sure my birds are trained as Davey has to work and i could'nt carry the basket's on my own. I dont go training as i wait for the birds, so a nice coffee and sitting in the garden (weather permitting) is great.

thats up to him but who,s to say whats right is this down to his early training are is he just a good pigeon man and knows what hes doing so no matter whether he goes at 3 or 5 or 7 he will still have good results youve got to do whats best for yourself
