This was our final race of the season and it was a Hot one, we Hydrated the late bred yearling birds with a bulb syringe before basketing. All our birds Young and old had water available to them in drinkers on our baskets right up to basket time with the ETS.
I have 2 white Griz Roland Janssen late bred yearlings and I decided to put them in to the race. they flew well and classified in 20th and 31st positions they were our (VAI&VEM) 1st and 3rd latebred yearlings back on this tough day. result below.

Thanks Don it was a great result in the end for us  because the temps were very high 30 degrees C and We hydrated the latebred yearlings with a bulb syringe before basket time last night. The 1st bird arrived at a loft next to us in our compound area of 4 lofts and then we clocked the next 10 birds in a row.

We didnt do quite enough to be Champions of Sprint but we finished as runners up so not too bad. Main thing is we had great returns and the birds will enjoy a good rest after a hard working season.
