but we have 11 from 12 darkness and 3 from 3 natural and was 2nd club so not bad for our first yb race
sorry guys just seen the sheet we was 3rd beat . of a decimal are well still happy Let me add to this Lee and his dad school there youngsters well before racing and are not afraid to miss a race just to make sure they are right when sent to the race
Top Quality fanciers the both of them
you got it right mate the darkness yb missed the 1st and 2nd race and went to the 3rd week as they were not 100% and we decided to get them more work and get them home so what you trying to say that everyone who has lost birds this week in our club and i mean theres still hundreds missing havent schooled there birds properly are were, nt ready mmmmmmmmmmm i wonder Who is this person (??) sorry it's you Muppet I know as well as you that a lot of fanciers train and some don't but there is a large number of fanciers who want to send just for the sack of it and a lot of fanciers sacrifice training them a few times just to make sure they have plenty of birds for the first race as a lot of fanciers think numbers bring prizes Ian even the best school youngsters are being lost and this is going to get worse before it gets better But a lot of fanciers will send just to send because there is a race and not be bothered about the birds capability and health and that is the reason for high loses What's best to miss a few races so your birds are prospered correctly and have a fair chance or just send them and hope they return ???? I would rather miss races and give the birds a chance which will give myself a better chance to finish the season with well tested birds than nothing at all then having to start again next season due to having no birds left to compete as yearlings |

- some ned to stamp um
i agree graham, what possible reason could there be why they dont allow members to stamp their birds...? never heard anything so daft, in my opinion a stamped bird or a bird with a telephone ring is more likely to get reported than one that isnt.......its very rare i let a stray into my loft, but if i saw it had a stamp or telephone ring i`d be more inclined to report it. | last friday i helped a guy put his ets rings on and to say his 30 strong y/b team looked imaculate is and understatement they have had more than 40 chucks up to 35 miles
he called me today at 6.45pm to say he hadnt seen one of them since 6am this morning work that out and that was from the loft fly he hasnt called me back its now 7.50 so i persume he hasnt got any
i think this game has run its course round here now it comes to something when you cant let birds out for fear of attacks your no longer enjoying the birds its constant worry either loft flying or training |

| really bad news that g , i feel for him but there are ways of dealing with the problem i my self always breed some extra and i don,t ring them if they kill or catch my unrung birds then the problem is solved . as you know mine are on open hole both old and young and this year no probs up to now flying and ranging really well , no one will help us solve this problem you have to take the bull by the horns and sort it your self i have and at the moment im rather happy with my birds enjoying a life style of coming and going with no hassle from hawks . |
