| As we were on the subject of eyes recently and I stated that Im always looking on there to see them, I just spotted the Braad-De Joode auction on pippa, what a selection of great pigeons.
Nowhere have I seen better eyes right through out the auction, every other pigeon has in my opinion got great potential and some fantastic eyes. I bought a Braad-De Joode bird several years ago and first nest a winner, since then its grandchildren have gone on to win also, I thought it had a good eye when I bought it on the internet, but sadly if got out over my head one day never seen again.
So Im saving this week and will treat myself to a bird from the auction if they stay at the reasonable prices they are now...lads get a bargain these are great pigeons. |

| If there are any new members starting in pigeons and want to buy some birds I would recommend spending money on those birds I think being its a total auction and there are quite lot the prices are going to be reasonable.
Glad you agree with me Don, I think a few hundred quid even for 1 bird would be well worth a go for these birds, best I have seen on PIPPA for ages, I think even the Leo Hermans pigeons didn't have so many quality birds and they were treble the price.
I welcome eye pictures David most people in pigeons don't really believe in the eye sign or have had a bad experience with someone who thought they could do it, but I think many are curious. |

| Cheers Martyn and yes your right with eyesign one of them subjects that a lot of fanciers think they know just by looking at an eye there is more than that it is difficult to understand but it's everyone to there own understanding
Will say them that say they don't do eyesign and are top flyers if you go to there stock loft you never see a bad eye on there stock pigeons
Look forward to the eyes David
But I know nothing |

Not in my loft (a grand/bargain) "Unless" they were prepared to fly all day & then get up the next morning so to speak. To get to their little perch. ***** |

hi racing novice, the only way at present is if you use photobucket or tinypics.com to host the pictures........you first need to upload the pictures to your computer, then upload them from your computer to photobucket or tinypics, who will then give you the IMG code which you copy, then paste onto your post on the site. it may sound a bit complicated but once youve done it, it is easy then for future pictures. p.s. you will have to have an account if you use photobucket, which is easy to do...or tinypics doesnt need an account, anyone can get the IMG code without even being a member hope this helps |

But i would say its a good racing eye needs to be taken a little closer but under a light to close the pupil up that will allow the iris to be shown more
