multi vitimins

whats members thoughts on multi vits what kind do they use and how often as every one will like different kinds ect sean

Red Cell,(I use the stuff for horses) 2 to 3 times a week

Gold Label - Liquid Iron

red cell

mix both together 1 spoon of each to 3 pints

cod liver oil on corn,then sprinkle cow & gate baby milk for hungryer babys once a week cheap as chips, and fit for human consumption so cant hurt the birds:cheers:

edgie take care the cod liver oil is good stuff but only mix it as you need it daily as it goes off but yes good gear sean

like i said once a week as soon as it is mixed it is fed to the birds, i never leave it to go ransid:cheers: 

wheat germ oil...gem ultra vits.....impact-iodine ,iron,vit b12 ,hemp for omegas

CA37 its for dogs, once a week or now and again if I remember. Couple drops of gemthepax to get it to stick to corn. Down side makes them bite the postman but they wag their tails when they see me.

Sadly !!!!!!!!   .  The one I also use has a horse on the label. Called "Stockgain" it is a yeast/seeweed concentrate on a molasses base type of thing, but it has most of the goodies that a horse needs   in my view. 25+ years I have used it here & I have found it of value I'm   for my donkeys etc.

I would have to say    it's not as good as the real thing    for what I remember. Thou     it's in the mix on there food etc, during the breeding season.

I once read an article about vits which said, its impossible to achieve or improve anything with vitamins, and as they are present in all food we give the pigeons I see no point in them at all.
I have never given them EVER to my pigeons and would never, If pigeons are lacking its the fanciers fault and needs sorting out.

I know everyone will say its just in case they are lacking something, which I would say they shouldn't be if you feed right. And others will say some vits are not found in most feed and need to be given, however those vits are not going to turn your pigeons into champions and if it did that's all we would need to do to be successful.
Save your money and get good pigeons which fly on fresh air and water because they are out there.

ive heard vit c is a cure all for nearly every type of illness or health problem, if given enough of it........this is natural vit c , and not the man made product they sell you in the chemist or super market etc.......

forgot to add I use good old lemon juice twice per week freshly squeezed and its good gear cheap as chips

Must say that I think Martin is right in what he said about vits if a pigeon is lacking of some sort its not going be much good, now if a birds had a good fly or come back late that is a different thing it would need something to pick it up just a thought:scratch:     

this info comes from people far more qualified than us "bar room experts"........  

the powers that be, dont want us using natural cures, and they feed us dis-information so the big drug companies can rake in billions of pounds in proffit off us..........

and thats a fact, not something ive read off the bak of a cornflake packet..... 

I use vita- pro pre combi vit swear by it not done mine any harm lol

Ginger !!!!!! The latest one here at the moment (spin & bling)    is a thing called Calamari oil for humans. Chemist's/Supermarket & the TV, make out as if we don't rush out & buy it type of thing we will all be dead in a week   . I must say thou     how good it is, that they are so concerned about all there customers health etc "Feel good moment" I surpose one could say.

Typical pigeon flyer, you are Ginger   On to a good thing etc (side way's fart) & you don't wish to share it with one of your mates here. Our friendship is finished I'm afraid unfortunately now, I would have to say     "Big time".

Thier is no probs Nac I will still let you bye the corn for my birds and I will only sell the s##t for half price seeing your a mate thats if you nip up here every week to clean out I wouldnt see you down the fact that I wouldnt be here has nothing to do with it cos I will be in the cost a lot

    It has been said by some Ginger     that I tend to be on the dim side, when intelligience is mentioned etc So !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! could I ask you, if I take up your kind offer "Does that include free board & meals" & are you prepared to throw in an air ticket as well.
