i can understand your thought daz , with the strong westerly wind where
getting you will have a really hard day sat if you send , we are racing out of yelverton in devon we will have strong wind up there back side , some feds are delaying basketing some are not , i will decide at the very last min and im checking all the weather sites but if i do send im only sending a hand full .

Not sure about the UK. Weather is too bad at the release point do they not bring them back to a better release point? weather permitting? Happens here.

they used to call a holdover now they either move closer or even bring them back some take the risk and let them go in the hope most will get back sadley that aint always the case 2 years ago most of the uk were wiped out thousands missing all let go in poor condition the same fate happened to the irish lads last week

but as ive said you do have a choice not to send theres always another week

terrible start to the season up north east, holdovers, cancelled races, not racing this weekend as terrible forecast, and due to the weather we missed our 240 miles racepoint so this weekend the birds have to cope with the weather as well as a 125 mile jump, good luck to all whos sending but mines staying on there perches for this week.
