| david i dont put bleach in my water as i have said before but i know people who do for what reason i dont know exactly why but what i do know some of these are top flyers in our club so it cant be doing harm |

| ok ian, so you dont use it.........but the people who do, obviously do not think the tap water they have available isnt safe enough for use.......bearing in mind this water has been treated and is passed for human consumption. so, if they are not happy with this and feel the need to further the cleansing of it so its safe for their birds........do they also feel the same water is acceptable for their children to drink....? if not do they add bleach to their daily drinking water.......? would be very interested to know.... |

| Ian how many times have fanciers, used something and said use it and when it has been used by someone else it has been the opposite for there pigeons

| you call them idiots david but you still dont know why all i have done is gave my view on the subject somebody put on to be bombarded by you and don with questions find out who put it on and ask them ,all i said it wont do any harm to your birds thats what this forum is about your view i gave him mine and don this is just my opinion

ian, im sorry you feel that way.........there is/was no offence meant, just a good discussion which sometimes gets a bit heated as we all have different opinions on pigeon keeping, like don says we all have different methods of management and some tips which work for one man might not work for another..... remeber chancos favourite saying.....? | if i remember correctly ian chanco did the same and added a small amount to the drinkers, he even claimed he had drank it himself............but even tho i did like his posts and info i cannot see the sense in this..... |

| i only drink water out of fridge through filder, kettle is filled from fridge takes taste of lime out, even birds get from from it fill 2 litre jug and pour it in 2 5 litre bottles daily |

| we are only had water a couple of years now at our allottments and it was a nightmare, i could.nt go though that again.so mine get it straight from the tap now and it has,nt harmed mine.i worked in scotland and few times their water tasted horrible to me but like everything so get used to it |

| Must say hard water areas, the taste is not nice as my old house was in a hard water area
But the new house the water is softer as there is less lime scale in the kettle compared to the old house |

| Must say the Janssen bros had water from there well in the back yard and they always put a lump of charke in the well to make the water soft and this is shwn on there video
