Blind as a bat !!!

Been having trouble with my eyesight etc (Nose on computer screen) So yesterday went to the optometrist here for a check up. They laughed when they saw my old glasses etc & said no wonder your half blind. Being around ten years since my last visit, new glasses are now on order "All free" compliments of my gold card I'm just sorry thou I just carn't get my grain supply on it, if I could      I would be in pure heaven.

had to buy a pair just for the computer brilliant not cheap had to have eyes tested just for the computer

expecting plenty of posts off you both now you can see again..........

wish I could get some to stop being blinded at night when driving never known it to be so bad

gotta pair of bins for the pc myself lol

I'm lost without mine yet 2yrs ago I felt I had perfect eyesight. Too many birthdays, always looking for them when they're perched ontop my head!

I know exactly how you feel Barnie Dumb & Dumber might just fit the bill etc. Now !!! come a long way since I was last there at the optometrist. Magic seeing your  eye's up on a monitor screen  & have him explain whats going on there. Had a quick look if I had distance lines or was just a speed freak . But sadly thou I'm I come away none the wiser. I will just add type of thing  here, it will not be ten years till I get my next set of glasses, as in 2 years time I can put my hand up again for another freebie & then also every 2 years untill the day I die.

Interesting that you mentioned night driving etc George . It's a real killer for me & in fact I did not fly the last few races last year here, as they changed the basket centre & I would have had to travel 40 odd miles in the dark to get there & back & it was just a complete no no with the way my eyesight is when talking about night driving. When the final nail is hammered down on me in this sport, it will be that issue that will close it for me sadly I suspect.

I'll read this later when I find me glasses......

you could try nite vision glasses.

on a serious note. you can get glasses for driving at nite.

they were so cheap not sure if they were any good will try them

I know Hal The Do Do owner didn't pay up either etc. Missed out on $75,000 I believe. Glad to see, you brought the SA race up here. Another total disaster & a disgrace for the sport in what they continue to do there & all in the name of, the sport of pigeon racing ???? .
