Sry lads not been able to get on and let yous all know what's going on birds have been held all weekend nobody's knows anything as per usual as to the next move so just sitting here waiting

ide bring the birds back now to long in the basket 6 days then having to fly 500+miles not good

ours are on the way back from niot today not yet sure what the plan is when they arrive here a land race or all the way home its central marking so quite a few baskets would need to be sorted through so could be a lib close to home

I cast my mind back many years ago we had a 500 mile race ;& held them 10 days ;to cut to the chase we had 90% returns ;so it can be done if the birds are looked after well at the liberation site ;& were not overcrowded in the baskets ?; best of luck ;

We basketed last Wednesday so they have been in the basket too long IMO . There lucking for an early lib today if weather not good enough this morning they will lib them any time weather improves through the day .so looks like it will be defiantly a 2 day race but all gossip and rumours scratch

would be nice for something concrete from the people in charge but that would be to easy it is pigeon racing after all lol!

. Well before K & I were a twinkle in our mothers eye's lol!

etc down here. I once read a story from the past, where to get the birds to a distant event up around a place called Alice Springs bounce

they loaded the birds on a Camel train to get them there for a release. My memory being what it is Crying or Very sad

I carn't quite remember how long it took, but I suspect it may have pushed K's 500 mile race, in time spent travelling type of thing some how. cheers

Just got in from work lads birds were up at 6.15 looking around 14 hours but from what I hear the channel was no good so won't be many home tonight Evil or Very Mad
