Devo, Dave Allen of Sheffield did a film about a middle distance fancier in Belgium (Lady Fancier) and her husband raced greyhounds and David said about how weight can make a big difference to the way the dog ran

As this fancier measured the weight of the pigeons also

Yes Don, I raced Greyhounds myself, its a true fact they do have a racing weight, for peak performance. Its all about getting to know that individual, there is a fine balance depending on the distance the Dog will be running. I feel its the same with racing pigeons myself, hope to find out this season.

will agree with you 110% George my uncle raced whippets and he weighed them a few days before they raced

here is something of interest if you raced greyhounds did you ever hear of JT Lawley and Peter Billingham they were both top trainers and both pigeon men that won Midland National

Think you may be with regards pigeons weight Food For Thought study

Does anyone use Seaweed Grit, it would be good to get some feedback. Do you think they may be too much salt in grit while feeding young.

Table salt and pullet grit. No pre or probiotics. Waste of money. Do not work on humans either. Sales pitch is all. Marketing, create a product people think they may need.
