| Anyone know anything about this strain of birds, my son-in-law works with a guy whose grandfather races hartogs originally from Gerrard lofts and may be willing to let 1 or 2 pairs go, can't find much on the Internet ( but that's probably me being stupid) and I don't want to jump in not knowing what I'm doing, any info appreciated, thanks all. |

Lofty if you look in the pigeon books you will come across John Gerrard of Liverpool he had the best of the family and knows a lot about them I think he is living in Southampton now if you can get his number you can have a chat with him Here in the midlands quite a few fanciers had them and did well with them the old Chairman for the Worcester Federation Bill Lewis who lived in Wolverhampton did well in the nationals and was 3rd Nantes National NFC Mac Jones Worcester Fed convoyer also had them and did well sprinting with them never out the top 10 of the fed between 7 to 12,000 pigeons |

| Sounds like I'd be a fool to turn them down, I hope he will let some go, even if it's only 1 pair. |
