| do you still give grit and minerals on thurs and Friday when racing ...I ask as a lot of guys take it away for the end of the week and just wondered why |

got to admit o/s i have been taking it away after wednesday but if i am honest i do not know why as i cannot see a healthy bird drinking more because it has had access to grit and minerals before a race and this is the only arguement i have seen put forward for not giving them late in the week

| same here shippy I cant see any reasoning behind it why would it effect race birds maybe one of our members could throw some light on the subject |

| That's something I would never have thought to do, can't see that it would make a difference as the bird would only take on what it needed, not fill itself up with grit. |

| Yes dies it matter leaving it in..ours have got grit 24/7..unless treating...so they do not pig out on it so really I cannot see any reason to take it out.I was a bit concerned when hearing others do incase I was doing something wrong |

| I've got my grit and minerals in there 24/7 and the birds take what they need , they're never gorging on it just take a pick at it now and then, so I'll be doing the same when I start racing them |

I think its the minerals ray like pink and black coating the membranes I think its all nonsense myself  |
