racing this week

our race from poole has been put back 24 hours so we shall race sunday,

hope they get a decent day for it edgie......our club race is at huntingdon.

we shall have 18 mph s/west

Another walk in the park race for me today here " I hope" 100 miles & 5000 birds etc . Put 39 in   & I was one of the small brigade sadly, but then I'm on a pension .

no racing for me this week just been told we are to go from newbury tomorrow instead, problem being they are basketing 6-30am in the morning with a view to a race sunday afternoon, that would mean I would have to set off from home at 5-30am or leave my birds over night at club h.q. not for me thank you

same two birds were 1st and 2nd at royes couple of weeks back 403 miles

Hard for me to get my head around that scenaro Edgie etc sadly. No encouragement there for the flyers from my perspective, who wish to fly in the race as such.

The walk in the park here just didn't happen etc . Fog at the race point put our race back about 3 hours & they had to move the lib site just to get a race in on the day. For some, who were on the glum side it was a quick visit to produce clocks & then home again to do a recount . For me 2nd club, 4th section &
6th centre as such was my bit for the weekend, with 4 chumps to come.

Didn't prepare my channel birds .happy to be honest cause the numbers where poor this year due to all the losses..only one sent in our club so that tells you

ill put sheet on when its made up thanks lads for kind remarks iam well chuffed as i been through a lot the last 5 years just trying my best
when you fly the channel you look at fed and championship clubs , section  and combine results as numbers are down but all worth while when you get results yes club numbers are down but if your not there you cant win
