pigeons in race basket

The problem is that most fanciers want to win lots of money but for me sending that extra basket can be the making of the next champion

Must say the heat the pigeons give of is high and fanciers can not see this once they have basketed there pigeons

But with my experience when convoying the only way i can explain it is if you put yourself in a sauna for as long as the pigeons are on the transporter, but the sauna is packed and you can not move much, then that is what it is like for pigeons in over crowded baskets

that right don weve got to try and make the basket as comfortable as poss

But it's all about money trying to save on that extra basket, but it's a pitty Ian that a few more fanciers were on the same wave length

i think that its all fanciers who send their birds right to see that they go in good conditions, and they have every right to complain if they think they arnt......could be one reason why so many are lost ?

its a big factor david fine line from being fit and off

yes ian, as you know i havnt raced mine yet and altho they are reasonably fit flying round home etc, i have never actually had them what i would call "race fit"......that will be a big difference when they are as they will handle and feel totally different, as now they will be carrying some access weight no doubt even tho its not obvious at the moment........plenty of training will get then in shape...

Mine will be back in the basket next week. i might just make the comeback race if im lucky. But only with the darkies
