Agm meeting tonight

At last, our agm is tonight, supposed to have been in December , wonder which 3/4 members will turn up , will report back later as it's usually a quickish meeting

Its always the same lofty few members showing up but the biggest problem is the ones that don't turn up are the first ones to moan if they don't agree with anything which was agreed at the AGM

same as our meetings roy, usually a complete waste of time going........last meeting was the most informative ive been to for a long time, heres hoping our agm in February is as entertaining

Like I said ours was a waste of time not many turned up as usual, but they can't moan about any changes ect

I think changes are already decided out side of the meetings..........

Same, same . Mine here is next Thursday, Lofty . 3/4 70 odd year old pensioners more concerned about having the meeting over quick, quick so we all can go to bed & then, hopefully wake up the next morning etc.

Sorry for the delay lads but got back from meeting feeling a bit rough, got up this morning and was a mess, Mrs told me to go back to bed and I stayed there for the rest of the day, god, I hope it's not flu.
Anyway, the meeting, brilliant,10 members turned up, chairman has finished with club and moved on, so we've got a new chairman, luke has gone as a clock setters apprentice, and 4 new members have joined the club, things are looking rosy for our club, seems we are on the up after a couple of years in the doldrums, so onwards and upwards lads looking forward to the new season

F/W, 2 are from a club that has folded, 1 from another club and 1 is a new flyer, still feel as rough as a bag of nails, but got to pick up some breeding boxes so will feel ill when I get home

that's good to hear roy, 4 new members..........shows theres still interest in pigeon racing around your way, not like some clubs.

We've got a number of clubs locally David, and there's talk of members from there wanting to jump into our club, there's 3/4 fanciers on the council estate where I live that are in other clubs and travel miles further to mark their birds, now if they joined and one of the other small clubs joined (only got 4 members) now, then we would have a club with some quality fanciers and have some say in the fed

I remember when I was a teenager, there was pigeon lofts all down our road, they were all over the place, now in the same stretch I can think of 3.

Good to hear Roy that the club members supported the meeting and you have four new members as well that can only be a positive for the club shows its being run correct

Thanks mark and don, strong club now I think it's 15/16 members ,one that has just joined won Welsh south road national from Eastbourne last year so some quality fanciers in the club

The memory bit unfortunately can be a real killer David I've found, when comparing modern day racing now to the old ways as such. All turned rat sh*te here now from my perspective.

I think ours is 25th feb mark, propositions have to be in by the 9th I think...........

I might go, I might not.......usually nothing much to say, and lasts for about 5 or 10 mins, not worth the time and effort going down there, best the time spent scraping out.

Very true dave we have ours on a evening so that everyone can make it but they will not turn up I just no before I even go same every year in every club
