First YB of 2018

rung my first yb the other day, I paired up a while ago but split them again as I thought it was too early, anyway I missed one egg under a pair which I didnt separate, I have a small loft with 3 pairs in and just left them together.......anyway an egg hatched so I let them rear it.

all others re paired now and most on eggs.

need some fine weather for a few days, those winds are bitter.........

True dave its the wind that gets to you not how cold it is Sunday looks good you might get some done then

hope so mark, will need to basket birds in that loft while I alter the front, some are not settled so if they escape they wont be seen again....should take me a couple of hours if the weather is ok.'

ive already made the door and frame, so should make it easier.

True David just when you think you may be up with them the sneaky types like our Ray        bring in more stock to build their numbers up etc.

very true knackered, our Raymond said he had around 26 pairs of stock, reading between the lines he has 40 pairs............

He can get ten pairs of eggs under those kings he brought at Doncaster

theres always method in our raymonds madness, trappers ....?

26 pair that has to be Geordie talk for sure I would suggest. Ray being Ray understands here I suspect you can get away with telling a few porkies if you put a or 2 in his posts at times David.

Choosing the right paint David I suggest is like deciding which magic potion/treat to buy for our birds at times .

parent and yb look in good order david ...hope you have a good breeding season
