| If he do everything , wich is neccesary for treating canker, dry loft , no contaminated water or food, he could try some medicine for resistant strains of canker CANKEREX PLUS. It depend on what he has tried already, then i would agree with don Oh before i forget , he must be 100% sure his problem is canker. |

| hi, back again....he has used spartix tabs and tkk in water but this hasnt done anything. it is the soft yellow type in the corner of the beak which is easy to get out but grows back.....he tells me the birds are ok in themselfs and he is trying them onflagyll tabs which has cured two of them but took weeks to do.... thanks again all. |

| Removing all grit and minerals when treating is essensial, for effective treatment, like chanco said. Beware of chlorinated tap water also, as chlorine could render treatment ineffective. |

| Another thing, if he has treated before , with same medicine, could have build a resistance against that medicine, need to use other medication with different main ingredient One should always switch between at least two different types, eg metridazole, and ronidazole I think one should consider that with most treatments. |
