True Don But where was Chudas 2nd bird etc maybe out there some where I'm with O/S's Red as such .

There appears a disparity between the winner and second in one case but one never knows wioth pigeons ????.

True No 2 results are quite the same type of thing & I suggest at times one can read a result in the wrong manner unfortunately, through lack of understanding of all that goes into painting a picture of a result etc.

Ok how is poor old knackeroo supposed to know here, when trying to compare results as posted etc David. Are they 1 brd 2 brd 3 brd or even multi clocking as such . The one assumption I can make with Chudas result is that some in his club missed the boat as such, unfortunately & they would I suspect be hoping for a better result next week .  

There always has been examples of pigeons putting up performances that appear not conversant with the circumstances, that does not mean that there was anything amiss.

In this case I would have thought that if all the other fanciers had been caught out then the winner would have several within a few yards of the winner.

What can happen is that a single pigeon tags onto a batch from another liberation further down the road which are already well into their stride and going like the clappers and go over the area from which the loner comes etc;

Chuda would have been fourth in one  club 227 birds fifth in a another 310        birds         so dont think his vel is  wrong  the other members birds were a bit slow

yes stuart, chuda was way out in front of the others in our club, they need better birds.........

Call it as it is Stu Suggest thou best you keep well clear when Chudas club, has there next basket night etc .

Returns were poor on the day, i had 4/9, Paul had 11/23, Alan 10/20, Kym 17/35, Geoff 7/20 so i don't think its the birds, they were coming all day, same for all clubs.

looks like the best man/bird won.....man who won sent the least birds took 1st place, man who sent 35 wasn't in the top 6.

quality, not quantity ......

Maybe so maybe not . The thing thou that caught my eye David, was the returns by everyone as such. Always at times I suggest, tells a story on average, which some times can be some what different to what the velocities may suggest when high range    .

Same, same Chuda No easy walk in the park thou etc I see for the average pigeon sent there as such.
