| ….what were returns like david in the club ,looking at the velocities it seems a strange race... guy in our club had a flyaway last year and was left with 3 ybs he flew the programme apart from the last race ...he still had 2 of the 3 left come the end and scored a few times with them ...nice to see you on the sheet david |

| Cannot make head nor tale of the velocity differences.
But just shows how far down the slippery slope the sport is going when a club is down to 4 members, you can only compete against the number involved and take nothing away from the pigeons putting up the best performances, but how much better it would be if you had 30 or more members sending 300 pigeons as in many cases in the past.
Looking at the results in the old bird programme the majority of clubs had low single figure club members and the losses of members to natural causes appears to be on the increase, so some real thought and ACTION needs to be implemented if the sport is to survive.
But Hey APATHY.
