racing this weekend

well done roy hope the others drop in for you we had our last one about an hour or so ago 11/11 so well pleased and even better that they have taken the race well a few were moulting quite a bit and may not get another race will have to see what their like come next weekend

Great news daz, 2nd bird clocked today was a chequer hen from 2 of yours, she was only 2nd because I couldn’t grab her quick enough so clocked another that came with her ( breeder/buyer as well ), another in the clock was a blue pied bred from another pair of yours, don’t ask for them back your not getting them

Another one this am 1 this afternoon. 9 from 15. Have to be tough this weather. 30 unflown go next week.

Our fed has cancelled for the weekend due to a bad forecast, they’ve brought it forward to a Thursday basketing for a Friday lib, was going to be Reading but now brought back to Swindon, suits us as it happens
Anyone else cancelled for the weekend yet

our lot always wait until the last minute our race organiser races himself so I find it strange at times ,I am expecting a Monday race for us as opposed to sunday ...good luck to you and luke

With plenty of advance warnings of unusually unseasonable weather, very high temperatures etc; it offered an ideal opportunity to stop racing for several weeks and race later in the year.

This would have given source to consider doing soon on a regular basis based on the results.

September would be a good month to race ybs sorry to hear that steve hope they turn around soon enough

Bad news boosey, always a worry when the YBS are mixed with others and come back sick, all the work put into them goes out the window

I feel for you Boosey one of those crap type moments that brings little joy to any one I suggest etc. Just had a call to tell me our race has been pushed back to Sunday because of the bad weather as such on Saturday here. Still have a race thou, & the sad sad thing is the blow home freaks here will have a header for the enjoyment factor now.

I think he is daz, I’m pretty sure they join our transporter when the get to swindon

Basketin tonight for a Friday race

Leeds Amal are basketing Friday for a Saturday race.

Ours are away, 251 club birds on they’re way to Swindon, forecast looks ok maybe catch a shower wind westerly so on their noses, should sort the men from the boys
